The estate agents didn`t manage to sell my property so I phoned the House Buyer Bureau, right from the start they were very helpful and within a very short time my house sale was through. Sonia Shortland was very helpful throughout the whole process and I would advise anybody having difficulty selling to go to this Company. They contacted me regularly and were always at the end of the phone if I needed to speak to them.

I turned to HBB in frustration after 3 years trying to sell my house. EUREKA within 5 weeks of wonderful service by all the girls at head office and a most proficient solicitor appointed by HBB, we exchanged and completed, and even managed to complete on a new house the same day. Already Pat and I have spoken to quite a few home owners in the same situation as we were in, and they too will be trying the same route through HBB that we took. It really is a great stress free way to sell your property where any question or query were dealt with efficiency and speed

I was very happy with the service and prompt sale. I was aware the reduction of the market value but this did not detract from the pleasant way the deal was completed. I would recommend using this service for anyone who is able to take a reduced sale price.

Anna Ellis was my contact at the house buyer bureau and found her to be very helpful and professional throughout the sale.......I would have liked a bit more for my property, but I did receive enough to enable me to pay off the existing mortgage and buy another property. Anna Ellis was instrumental in the bidding process for the property I was buying being reduced down to a level that I could afford. The time scale in the process was a bit drawn out but that was down to the lease on the flat that I was buying taking longer than was expected.......

maybe.....the first cash offer was unrealistically high which is to get people interested, it is subject to valuation etc, but I felt it raises your hopes, then knocks you down.........

Overall the sale went very smoothly. I appreciated the fact that I had one point of contact (Sonia) and spoke each time to her. It was great to talk to someone who knew all the details and I didn't have to repeat myself to someone else. Sonia was so helpful and gave me confidence in the sale procedure. Dealing with Sonia was a pleasure as she was very helpful and careful to explain every step of the procedure in detail.
Things seemed to take a while to get moving at first as the reports from the independent estate agents were outstanding for some time however were finally chased up by Sonia and her colleague.
Quite upset with the amount we received for our property following the valuations, living in hope that we will receive a windfall with the uplift.

The sale of our house has finally been achieved, almost against the odds! Anna was very helpful from start to finish, despite the innumerable problems that kept appearing! The whole process did take much longer than we had originally anticipated but, even so, from initial contact to completion the time was 26 days.
We were a little bit disappointed with the sale price but have agreed a 50/50% uplift if a higher price is realised on resale. However, for reasons of speed and convenience we remain happy with our choice of selling through HBB.
